Jack Armstrong (basketball)Jack Armstrong (sportscaster) – The occupation in a disambiguated title is supposed to directly communicate the subject's primary notability claim — but Jack Armstrong is not notable as a basketball player, he's notable as a television and radio sports broadcaster. Bearcat (talk) 21:43, 25 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose. I get the idea, but his broadcasting is primarily in basketball as well. He is also notable for his NCAA Division I head coaching career so I think the general DAB “basketball” works for both. Rikster2 (talk) 12:06, 26 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose He seems notable as a coach as well. In some cases, we're limited to choosing one disambiguatior over another; in this case, "basketball" covers both. I have added {{R from other disambiguation}} to Jack Armstrong (sportscaster).—Bagumba (talk) 11:04, 3 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
